Privacy notice.

1. Who controls your data

The data controller is The Nursery Business Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 15355905, registered office Victoria House, 26 Queen Victoria Street, Reading, Berkshire, RG1 1TG, trading as The Nursery Business. 2. The data we collect

When you use the contact form, we collect your name, nursery, group or project name, email address, optional phone number, your current stage in the nursery journey, the support you think may help, and the information you provide about the decision, risk or pressure that brought you to the site. We also receive information you choose to send by email or provide during a call.

The Fee Increase Calculator asks for your name, nursery name and email address before showing the full results. We use these to send you the results and one follow up message. We do not add you to a mailing list without your agreement.

3. Why we collect it and our lawful basis

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, decide whether and how we can help, arrange a call, prepare a proposal, and keep an appropriate record of the conversation. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in responding to prospective clients and operating the consultancy. Where an enquiry leads to an engagement, processing may also be necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract or to perform that contract.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiry information is kept for 24 months from our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required by law or the enquiry becomes a client engagement governed by separate retention requirements. We then delete or securely anonymise it.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data or pass it to another nursery. The enquiry form is delivered through Formspree, which processes the submission on our behalf. Data may also be handled by essential email, hosting, professional advisory and IT service providers where needed to operate the business. These providers must protect the information and use it only for the agreed purpose.

6. International transfers

Formspree and other technology providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where personal data leaves the UK, we require an appropriate UK GDPR safeguard, such as an adequacy regulation or approved contractual clauses. You may contact us for more information about the safeguard used for a particular provider.

7. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to access your personal data, correct it, ask for it to be erased, restrict or object to processing, and receive portable data. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent. These rights are not absolute. Contact us using the email above to make a request.

8. Complaints

Please contact us first if you have a concern. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Guidance and contact details are available at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

9. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our services, suppliers or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top will show when the current version began.
